I was perfectly content "downgrading" my Stage III bugeye WRX for the family minded Outback until I found this site. I place blame on MRLancaster, his former Outback looked perfect.

So pics first.

After:

In all honesty I landed on this site because I was tired of the wobbly wandering feeling I got every time I rounded a cloverleaf. The initial intention was to just upgrade some of the squeamishness out, well you see what happened. Now for the obligatory list of what was done.

Step 1 -
Suspension
LGT Spec KYB GR-2 Struts (2x 341275, 1x 334273, 1x 334274)
KYB Front and Rear Top Hats (SM5214, SM5361)
Subaru Spring Perches (2x 20325FA000)
Subaru Rubbers for Perches (2x 20323FA000)
H&R Wagon Sport Springs (MP# 29443)
Baja Turbo Rear Sway Bar (20451AE17B)
Baja Turbo Rear Sway Bushings (2x 20464AG04A)
Baja Rear End Links (2x Sorry no #)

Brakes I didn't go overboard
Centric double ground coated rotors (120.47018, 120.47017)
Hawk HPS Pads (HB434F.543, HB424F.665)
DOT 4 Racing Fluid
Dupli Ccolor Black Caliper Paint

I will be looking into "properly lowering and outback" thread to fix my rear camber, it's about .5 out of spec, other than that the alignment is perfect.

Step 2 - Planned who knows when
Manual swap similar to keltik
He seems to have successfully swapped a 5s into his H6

Step 3 - Make it pretty
17 x 7.5 Drag wheels - Current
225/45/17 rubber - Current
Monochrome paint, probably white all over
Factory Hatch wing
Lower Hatch wing
Interior is in good shape, the headliner is dirty from me loading Bikes inside
maybe make it match the brown dash...

Thanks!!

Shane

I totally love this body style wagon lowered... It has a more beefy appearance than the gen before. anyway, i have an h6 powered subaru myself(SVX) and it gets up and goes pretty nice.

Thanks all, didn't know it was a "Shane" club too.

I'm not 100% what model Drag wheels I have, they were from Discount Tire and were an easy grab to get rid of the stockers.

I don't think this project will move too fast, but I'll be lurking and watching and asking questions prior to the next Phase.

Thanks!!
