I just pulled the door panel off and I'm looking to keep the stock harness in place and was wondering which stock wire is which?

Blue - Positive?
Grey - Negative?

Neither has writing.

None of the colors you posted above match my wires. I'm talking about the wires coming from the harness(in the door) to the speaker.

Its only blue/grey.

Bump. I would like to know this as well. Colors for + and - in the doors at the speaker, that is.

If it makes a difference, my Leggy is a 1990 with a stock am/fm/cass.

are you using the stock deck or an aftermarket one?

Me? Stock. But it doesn't matter, I'll be splicing aftermarket speakers in at the doors not the deck. I noticed there's actually a connector in the door wiring, so that the stock speakers can literally be unplugged from the rest of the wiring harness; I will be cutting them out after this plug so that the entire harness in the car is intact, and splice the speaker half of the plug to the aftermarkets so they can be plugged in to the car in the same manner as the OEMs. When I do upgrade the head unit, it will be with a plug in harness adaptor, I don't like chopping up wiring harnesses. For now, I just want to know which wire is the + and which the - for all four (at the doors), so I can do them all the same.
