Got a Thule roof top carrier from a buddy I helped move this weekend. He dosen't have a car with a roof rack anymore, so he made me an offer I couldn't pass up. Will probably only get used a couple times a year for camping or whatever. Didn't make any extra noise but did use more fuel on the trip home.

Looks good up there. Are you going to paint it to match the wagon? I saw an Audi in San Diego that was a flat olive drab with the Thule carrier color matched. I'm not saying you should do that, but the color match made it look nice.

Never thought to paint it, i have a set of wheels waiting for tires that are gunmetal and keepng it black I think will prob look good.

Funny you say carry more swag.... this weekend is our baby shower, so I'll use it to haul everything home!

My buddy said I'll be suprised with how much can fit in it, he used it mostly for the same as what it looks like you do, snowboarding stuff.

Thanks guys!

Well, the best thing about them is they can haul a ton of stuff and keep it dry. I sold my ski/snowboard attachment and it paid for most of what I got this for. Every time we go snowshoeing, all the wet stuff goes in the case. If you go to the beach, it can work the same, keep the sand out of the car...

The best is that I can still put 2 bike attachment's on the bars and put all the gear in the case and still have a lot of room in my car and not feel scrunched!

Never thought about using it to keep the inside clean, great idea!
