GC -> BG exhaust... will it fit?

Simple enough question, "impreza" and "exhaust" are "too common" of words to be used in the search. :-? Anyways, that's the question: Will a full GC exhaust setup bolt directly on to my car? Or is the fitment different?

I know the GD stuff almost fits but needs to be lengthened, rotate a flange, and the hangers aren't perfect.

Yes, and the GC stuff is going to be the same deal. Flange gets rotated, the midpipe needs to be lengthened about 6" and the hangers need slight relocation.

With a little modification, it can work, but it'll require some money for the exhaust shop to work. Unless you're a welding pro.
