so finaly got my 98 legacy wagon RWD convertion moving on its on power on its 4 wheels. so the rwd convertion all is working good. but the only thing the clutch is slipping real bad. so i am wondering this car has been parked for the last 3 years on grass and left outside for a couple of winters. so could it be a possibility that the clutch and just rusty and crusty and i need to drive it a bit to clean it up to get grip or i am shit out luck and need to replace the clutch. and when i bought the car it was for a parts so i never drove it before so cant say if the clutch was any good before to start with. 5spd manual trany

One thing to check is your rear axles. Are they seated in all the way? If not they'll make you think your clutch is going out. ask me how I know. ;)

clutch is working good! i look at the axles they were in all the way. I drove the car for a good while downswifted and up lots of times so it cleaned up the service and not its gripping good. so i am glad, so it was really crusty
