Hi Guys!
We are purchasing our last parts for my Dad's 1998 Legacy Wagon project.

My doubt is, with NARDI hub + Nardi Deep corn, the wheel will stay at OEM "place"?
I mean, distance to the arms!

My english is poor, tried to search, didnt found nothing, my dad DOESNT want a quick release hub,
I tried to convince him, its a good "not steal my car" feature too! lols

Thank you very much!

With that combination your dad should have no issue with distance and arm length / OEM Place.

The "deep corn" style wheel makes up the difference in length compared to a flat style wheel.

Also if you want to use the horn you will need a Horn adapter that sits between the hub and the wheel. Think of it kind of like a gyroscope.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply!
The problem is, i like the Classic Style, my dads like the deep corn, but, the car is His so..
Do you think the horn adapter comes with the wheel or hub? by the things i remember they came with it!

Depending on the hub you get but in most cases you can re-use your "clock spring" the mechanism that transfers the airbag/horn and cruise control wires through the hub while allowing it to act as a gyroscope.

Here is a example .. its a RX7 but the concept is the same

...

Now that being said. Depending on the hub you choose .. some are "simple" hubs with no gyro in them. others will have the gryo (wheel adapter) built into it.

The link I posted above shows a "simple" hub with no gryo which is why the RX7 owner retained his "clockspring"

When you / your dad purchases a hub make sure it has the gyro mechanism in it.

The wheel should come with the horn and its cable.
The hub should come with a positive wire connection point on the outter portion and on the inner portion there should be another positive wire connection ment to tie into your stock horn wiring.

I am sorry if this is a bit complicated but its really not.

I have an NRG slim hub, quick release and a shallow Nardi wheel. It's atleast an inch closer to me than stock.

I take my wheel off every night. Only way I can sleep.

Love that!, we have a "comunity" garage here in the building, is rare to leave the car on the street too, it has a GPS on it, i dont know exactly the name in english, if stolen, we call, they search! but the quick release is just to stay even more safe!
Much money being invested in the car, here at Brazil isn't easy to found parts, and not cheap too!
The Subaru represents here is shit! they call "CAOA", wish they come official!

With SHALLOW what you mean? the classic nardi?

My dad asked me, wtf is "offset"?!

On the Wheels i know, i mean, my dad saw on the oficial nardi website, steering wheel offset,
At the time, we were looking for wheels, maybe he confused?!

Now we have the Enkei EKM3 Gunmetal, 17", 215/45.

Offset for the steering wheel is the same as the rim. its either + or - from the center/neutral position.

Daaam, i didnt see this!
Thanks good information, thx!!

Our car only have the horn, so its going to be easier, and if the ofset works the same as the wheels, is even easier! lools

I did see some image of the legacy you own "Chromehorn" that was my dad first choice, but is not what we are looking for,
U using NRG Hub + quick release, right?

I think we are going to buy the Nardi Hub, the price is almost the same of the NRG, but we are going to buy the wheel + hub in italy!

Hasn't been a problem. I have above average sweaty hands too. lol

And yes NRG hub and quick release. There a small NRG to Nardi adapter in there too.
