Hello! Quite new here and with Subie's as well. I'm Chris from Manila,Philippines. I will be getting my legacy on Monday. It's actually bisikleta62's old car. I'm quite happy I got to trace the owner who built the car.

awesome to see more subarus in the pi. When i went home i just saw a forester xt in Naga and a black STI outside the big starbucks in manila. How hard is it to legally own a rhd jdm car there?

Actually there are a good number of subies here in Manila, thanks to the distributor for doing a fine job.

Afaik, it is impossible to own rhd cars in the Philippines. One has to convert it to lhd for it to be registered and be driven.

dang i thought you can get away with RHD in the PI. i have to find a LHD EVO 5/6 there and bring it to america. That would be an awesome collectors car.
