In addition to the WRX Limited Subaru showed in New York (News, April 24),

the Japanese automaker also introduced SI-Drive.

Legacy 2.5 GTs and spec B models will be equipped with SI-Drive, which stands for Subaru Intelligent Drive. SI-Drive allows the driver to adjust throttle response, fuel delivery and shift patterns. A knob on the center console has Intelligent, Sport and Sport Sharp modes, basically translating to fast, faster and fastest.

It's almost like AP. (Accessport)

A lot of people were bitching about this being a gimmick (btw, Jess, this was already posted by me in the 2007 Spec B thread ;))

I think it's a nice idea, I've been waiting for them to use turbos to optimise mileage, this is a baby step at least.

I'm more excited about the 6MT though :D
