Which Cars had Single Port Exhaust?

Hey everyone it's me again asking annoying questions.

If you haven't already heard, I need to replace my single port exhaust system, front to back.

It's kinda like looking for life on Mars.

Can anyone tell me what cars came with the single port exhaust system so I can start scouring junk yards?

Last resort, I have an exhaust shop just make me the header! (UEL???)

96 was the crossover year for single port heads on the EJ22.

90-96ish EJ22s had dual port.
96ish+ EJ22s had single port (not sure about the 99+ EJ22 PhaseII though, I think that was dual port).
EJ25s were all dual port.

Thank you very much. I'm surprised they are so hard to come by if there were 3 different MY's that had them. This will help my search tremendously.

Look at your header pipes where they meet the heads. I've seen some single port 95's. (prob had heads replaced but who knows.)

I found a somewhat near by junk yard that will sell me cat-back to muffler for $125. Is this a good deal?
(Federal Law prohibits them from selling me a cat, and they don't have the manifold.)

Out of curiosity, how much would a UEL custom manifold cost me? And how about a hi-flow cat?

You'll have to go to a local exhaust shop and find out. Prices vary by region quite a bit, from what I gather. And of course, by exhaust shop. Just make sure they're not going to crush bend your pipes.
