can't find anything with search.. The rear side of my oil pan is leaking. running down the back of the bell and dripping on the Y pipe.. Anyone have a rightup on dropping the pan? It looks like the engine has to be lifted up to access the rear 4 bolts. There is a top mount and two lower right? what else? Anything else need to be unbolted to jack the engine up a couple inches? Thanks, Tim

Oil pan is secured by a gasket and about 10-12 10mm bolts. You should be able to get it off without touching the engine.
You'll need a putty knife to break the gasket seal, but be careful not to score the mating faces.

dropping the pan looks easy but there are 4 bolts at the rear of the pan that I can't get a socket on. It looks like the engine has to be lifted a couple inches so I can get a 3/8s swivel and extention on.... any how tos?

Must be a diffferent design to the EJ25 then - I only have the 10mm bolts on mine.
