I'm getting ready to lower my '99 Legy Outback, and I'm wondering if anybody has done this before, or has seen it done.

I will be using Legacy L Wagon struts, in combination with some B&G Lowering Springs that will lower the vehicle 2" in the front, and approx. 1.75" in the rear end. Will this be TOO low? Or should i be functionally ok for daily driving purposes?

Thanx for the input guys.

It should be ok, and others have done this before. You should search for pics of 95-99 legacy's with H&R springs. I think it should be about the same drop. Coming from an outback height to lowered will be an extreme. I've been lowered twice now and I've still never scraped the ground. I am a little careful when driving, but it's nothing that really interferes with daily driving. It should look sweet!

Well, i got it lowered, and its fine in the fronts, but in the rear, it was majorly rubbing the fenders. So, i pounded down the inside lip of the rear fenders and got it to clear during regular driving, but on big bumps and hard turns, i'm rubbing a bit, I think i'll have to roll my fenders a bit to get the clearance were i want it to be.
