Im Jeff, from Portland Oregon. I have a 00 legacy GT Limited."Titanium Pearl" I got this car stock less then a year ago. the parts just keep coming. I got the Jdm bug from "rocket legacy" after hours of links showing me what my car could be and locating the parts for me. "Thanks Casey"

Wow! So clean, even suspension components! The rear strut bar is one hell of a find and looks amazing. Makes me realise I'm just not taking good enough care of mine..
By the way, those XXR wheels look awesome on it, why so many wheel changes?

cpundyk
06-30-2012, 02:21 PM
Thanks Yamazaki.

JBclegacy: I try my best to keep it clean, 1 time a month cleaning my struts, sways. Why dont they make the 3 way adjustable bars anymore? I dumped the xxr's because they got over played. My car came with wrx wheels :( I had the spare set of GT wheels from my last car so i threw them on. Got a great deal on the rotas i couldnt pass up. Gonna switch the color of them soon. Get out there and clean your car!

Sound deadening? Nice. Cutting down road noise (and exterior noise in general) is one thing I want to do with my cars to make the ride a little more "upscale".

Yes. It helps ALOT! fixed the title so people know what they are looking at. thanks Yamazaki for bringing that to my attention.

What paint did you use on your calipers? Did you remove them to paint? Thanks

Looks great.

Throw a little generic carpet over the trunklid deadening to give it some OEM feel, and use a bit on the back of that STi rear seat. Shame you lost the rear fold down capability, but you probably saved 20lbs in weight too. Ever thought about reinstalling the stock rear seat and just recovering it to match the front STi seats?

He doesn't even need to do that. The '06~'07 STi had rear seat center pass through. That's what I did with my '05 Impreza STi. I swapped in '07 rear seats for the center pass through.

Huffer

Yeah, but the STi rear seat isn't a perfect fit. If you want perfect, you recover to match. And center pass through is poor mans fold down.

Im looking for a STI seat with a pass threw but i really dont miss it because i never use it. I shaved the foam down a little but i need to do it alot more so it sits flat on the sides. I wouldnt put that much money into my rear seats because i have a kid. The calipers i took off and wire brushed them them washed them off and went to town.
