Hello everyone I'm Matt, currently living in Connecticut but about to move out to Wisconsin for at least a year.

Posted my Legacy below, gleaming in the street after a long overdue wash n' wax. Now I can see hundreds of tiny scratches and dings that were invisible before! It's a 1999 30th Anniversary wagon, only 65,000 and change on it so still lots of life left. Pretty much trouble free so far, only work aside from routine maintenance has been replacing front O2 sensor and spark plug boots that were leaking oil into the wells. A few minor body issues are beginning to surface with age, handful of tiny rust spots and peeling, dry rotted window trim that I'll replace if I can ever find the right part.

I've been doing lots of preventative maintenance on it recently preparing for the 1,300 mile journey to Osceola, WI and stumbled across sl-i while looking for advice about the leaking spark plug wells. I've learned alot already, great to be here!

Welcome to the boards. All I have really done so far is upkeep, so don't let that stop you from being on here!

I got all excited that you were moving to WI, but alas. No one is close to me, still.

Welcome to the boards! If you are going to pass by Stevens Point (probably not) let me know!

Unfortunately not, looks like it will still be about 150 miles out of my way round trip. Heading up I-94 almost to the Minnesota border then cutting north a little way.

What's the situation like for meetups in the WI area? I was bummed to see that I'll miss the New England one later in the summer, it would be really cool to see a gathering if I could make it.

There's a ton of Wi guys on Mnsubaru, they would know more for meets in your area. As I get older I seem to spend less time time on that end of the state, but wish I didn't as it is very beautiful, welcome to Sl-i!

Welcome!

You'll be driving right past my house, I'm just off I-94 in Windsor...a few miles north of Madison.
