Auto BE 1st Gear Help

My automatic BE (no ridicule I know its not manual) and the car shifts out of first gear so quickly and it needs more time in first when I give about 50% throttle it shifts before i hit 3500rpm. So is there anyway I can make it shift later?

Is it a 4EAT? I can swap mine to manual if I want to. I don't know much about transmissions, though.

You can try the "power mode" mod and see if it helps.
