Hey SLI,

I’ve been a lurker here for years, but thought it was about time I introduce myself.

My name is Jeremy and I’m a fine art printer and graphics dude in Los Angeles. I’m into heavy music, lowered wagons, and my dogs. This fall, my girl and I are moving back to New England where we both are from. This was a great excuse to get back into an AWD car after a few years in a Corolla (%^&*$# LA gas prices!). Though tempted by WRX’s, I’ve always been a Legacy man at heart. Something about a Legacy wagon just looks right to me.

After searching for months, I found this 2000 GT. I have lots of plans for the car and you have all been a valuable resource already. I hope to contribute to the site in any way I can and meet some new people along the way.

That’s pretty much the Cliff’s Notes version. I’ll be sure to start a Member’s Rides thread and give the full story behind the car as well as document my progress!

Here are a couple pics from a recent trip to the desert. Enjoy!

I never understood people lurking for so long but welcome anyway. What part of New England are you moving to?

Thanks. I was relatively active on the old 9th gen Corolla boards before they went down. I would just always find myself sneaking back here to check out legacies...

As for the move, I'm not 100% sure yet. It'll depend on where I find work for sure. A couple of possibilities right now are Portland, Maine or Hanover, NH. I might expand to the Boston area if those don't work out. I've been in LA for about 10 years now and I'm definitely feeling ready to head back east.
