rear diff problem

I started removing rear subframe. on my car to do bushings. the four main bolts connecting subframe to car -one of them snapped. half is stuck in car and idkn how to get it out. and where do i get another one? From dealer or Will that cost too much? My car is a BE f.y.I. please help!!!

Have you tried drilling it out? They also make "easy-out" kits that you drill into the broken off bolt and then reverse it out. As for the bolts, you can get grade 10 bolts at your hardware store, but it might be easier to go to the dealership, depending on the size.

I've found that basic hardware from the dealership isn't too expensive, in general.

They don't have grade ten around here so dealer it is. I have a set of easy outs but the bolts are one with the frame of car now so idk how they Will work. if anyone had this problem before please help. I need my car back together before Monday

Sometimes you just have to get a big ass bit and drill out till it crumbles apart and you can pick it out.

I gave up. broke easy out in half. cars in pieces and about to be for sale. anyone have ideas

get someone who knows how to use a torch, to heat the welded in nut area around the broke off bolt. it will expand enough to break loose the stuck part of the bolt, and you should be able to use vice-grips to twist out the rest of the bolt, I had to do this trice a few times on my car during it's restoration process

Becareful with a torch since you are pretty close to the gas tank. At this point you are better off drilling it out. You may need a long bit iirc and drill it out and chase the threads and buy new bolts. It's been said but its your best option right now.
