Hey this may be to much to ask but there is ALOT of us on here but Id like to know all the trunk and just interior over all accessories there are for BD's? Idk depending I what, I may want to get my hands on some of them. I'm also asking because I was a child the entire time BD's were actually being sold and what not at the dealer.

There're all sorts of things. Things ranging from an under-seat slide out tray to a power outlet (yes, as a Subaru option) and everything in between.

I'll scan in the 1995 accessory catalog in when I have a chance.

Thanks guys, yeah I want to stuff all the cool accessories that I can, they can be from a different year of BD as well unless the product was made to match the interior color but I'd like to know if it was made to match the color of the interior or not if so.

I know the "charcoal" interior color for the 97/98-99 models was different than the 95-96/97 (not sure when the transition was).

Really? to me it all looks the same except for the color.

Supposedly it was a different shade in the newer models. I've only been told this - it's hard to see in photos.

Sorry, my scanner is a POS. Hopefully its readable for everyone - I downsize them because the originals were HUGE. I figure my 25" monitor is larger than most, so this should be a good resolution.

Red85celica's 97 BK has a lighter gray then my 98 BD. ALL parts are a different color... JDM parts I'm told are the darker color.

Here's a pic of my scuff plates... Shop around though, I got mine from a guy in Austraila for $78 shipped. You dont need the plastics anyway. These are not just JDM, they just happen to be more common over there... The US market had then till 96 if I remember right.

I bought a brand new trunk net for my wagon a few months ago. They're still available. I just looked at it again and I didn't see a sedan version for sale.

I think you could install the wagon version in a sedan version just fine, but the net wont stretch tightly across the trunk. It would probably be limp since the sedan trunk is smaller than the wagon. To install you use a giant 1/2inch drill bit to drill through the interior plastic and then use a smaller bit to drill into the metal body. Do this 4 times, screw in the hooks and youre done!

Hey Yamazaki, I'm looking for something but I'm not sure if it exists or it only lives in my imagination, an optional "sports mesh grille" for the BD/BG. It outside part looks like the normal one but in black plastic, with mesh on the inside... or to put it another way, like the RFRB grille but without the 2 vertical bars. Do you have anything like that in your cattle dogs?

Bra...

Yes I do. It's another RFRB grille. I thought it was for the A type BD/BG only, but here I am looking at the catalogue and it's on a BG with projector lights. It's in the '95.9 accessories catalogue on pages 3 and 6.

I would love to have those two center console pieces, door sills, and they make a change cup for the door panel.

Also I would love to have an OEM block heater. Has anyone ever done this? does subaru still make the part? Any info would be appreciated because the cold months are approaching quickly.

Block heater P/N - A0910AS100
Battery warmer P/N - J6010FS000

Both are widely available and inexpensive. Block heater should be around $30, I think the battery warmer is $30 as well. I have the block heater on mine, considering adding the battery heater too.

Thank you very much for those part numbers. Didnt know about the battery warmer. Do you think it a little overkill with an optima yellow top?

Also any chance of some info on install of the block heater. DIY or FSM that kind of thing...

You can find the sills around for sure but quality ones have gold price tags. Unless they are sourced from an individual enthusiast in which case they are usually pretty reasonable.

I have been thinking as well. Since everyone wants these but they can not be had. Would anyone be interested in carbon fiber replicas?

Thomistopheles
08-11-2012, 10:10 PM
My block heater was already installed when I got the car, but installation is really simple. The heater element replaces a plug, cord is routed out to the bumper.

http://www.subaruparts.com/catalog/suba ... heater.pdf (http://www.subaruparts.com/catalog/subaru/blockheater.pdf)

Battery warmer might be overkill, but it'll maximize your available cranking amps....always good when it's -15°F

Yep! Thats what my buddy says also. I have had him look up a crap load of stuff and it's all gone. He has also told me there is no way to get JDM parts. I guess Subaru America just doesn't even want to deal with it. I can go to Nissan and get JDM Silvia parts, but I cant get Legacy parts, I find that sad.
