New Member from Pittsburgh (living in Blacksburg,VA)

Hey SL-I!

I'm a student at Virginia Tech and originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Looks like quite a few PA people on here which is nice to see. I drive an 05 BL 2.5i. Haven't really done much besides get some new lower profile tires and debagded the back worded Subaru logo (it was starting to corrode off). Looking to do some small mods as I am looking to get involved with the Car Club at Virginia Tech (seems like a good group of 30+ members that do semester car shows as well as participate in Regional AutoX events) so might do a rear sway, make the intake a hybrid, and so some small cosmetic changes.

Glad to be a part of this forum and looking forward to learning a lot more about working on Legacies and hopefully making it to a meet sometime (We should definitely have one a little more south than PA for us NC, VA, WV, TN guys).

Welcome, I know a good amount of the guys in ccva. I used to live in Roanoke. We'll have to have a meet sometime.

I'll definitely get some pics up and a member's ride post once the weather here brightens up and I can detail the car. It's pretty dirty right now (those major thunderstorms have thrown all kind of mud and debris in the roads)

Yeah still no luck and forecast says storms through the weekend. As long as it keeps staying cool I don't mind!

Welcome to the forums man. And its true, we do have a lot of PA people on here. The grouping of us is now reffered to as the "PA Army".......And dont forget to get on that member ride thread so we all can see your beauty.

Definitely saw a few SL-i stickers around Pittsburgh when I used to live there 2 years ago and was also curious (my brother owned a wrx and I was familiar with STi but didn't really look into it until I got my 2.5i)

I checked the meet up threads but didn't see anything for a meet more south or west of the PA one. Any ideas if theres anything closer down here or am I gonna have to suck it up and drive?

Yeah I'm in Blacksburgm VA now (5 hours directly south of Pittsburgh) so there literally isn't anything close to me. Worse comes to worse, might have to start planning a VA, south WV, TN, Ky, NC meet!
