BE Rear Deck Speakers?!

I've noticed recently that in the rear deck of my BE there is two cutouts for speakers one seems to be the size of a 6x9 and the other is a little bit smaller.

does anyone have experience with actually putting speakers in here? are they prewired?

just curious whether or not im actually gunna have to wire an amp, and spend a little more money or not

One is where the McIntosh speaker on the VDC models are. The other is a cutout for the rear wiper module.
So there won't be wiring for the rear wiper, but if you have existing wiring for the McIntosh speaker you should see it from the trunk.
