Is there a difference in the timing sprockets on the crankshaft between the EJ25D and EJ22E? I read an article where it said they were the same but I want to double check before I slap my 2.2 back together.

Yes, no to cam gears

Yep to the above. I'm running a full set of brand new ej22e rollers on my ej20g. I don't think the metal ej22e cam gears will work, never had enough to try it lol. Prob won't since the dohc's have 'innies' and 'outies' for cam gears. The old style metal ej20g cam gears will interchange onto ej25d's though.

Obviously not the cam gears! haha Thanks I needed everything except the cam gears, I have rollers and sprockets from my dead 25D I'll use. Thank you very much!
