Ok I'm not real familiar with Subie autos and the last one I had that gave me fits I sold while 1st and reverse still worked. Anyways my buddy has an 00 Forester, 130k miles, battery light and brake light came on, then AT low oil temp light flashing, as well as ABS light. Now it won't start, sounds like a dead battery.
Is it possible just a weak or dying alternator/battery is enough to set those lights off? He doesn't want to spend any money on it and would rather sell it for $1500. I'd rather not do too much work at someone elses house working on a car that may or may not be worth fixing.
Any ideas?
