View Full Version : Wan to know if I did it right and if it needs to be adjusted

I just installed my throttle body back after cleaning it and to get the throttle and cruise cable on I just did it when the throttle body was lose to make it easy. Was that a good idea or should I have losened them and then do it. I also noticed there not as tight as they were before I removed them now at least I don't think so but ether way should I adjust them?

It shouldn't be a problem, but I think its harder to do with the cables still on, but thats just me.

The cables are adjustable with the hold down nuts if they are run one way or the other. You want a tinny bit of slack but not tight, on them both.
