1995 Subaru Legacy (250T) on Okinawa

This is my first time to this site. I found it trying to find a solution to the problem with my current Legacy. I've owned it for about two years now and I'm pleased with it. It's a 1995 Legacy 250T with an EJ25 DOHC engine. This is my second Subaru the first one, an 89 (EJ18) Legacy wagon, I owned was while I was stationed at Misawa AB Japan then took it with us to Yokota AB outside Tokyo. This time around I'm a mister working for the government on Okinawa. When I got it the tires, they were round and once made of rubber, were shot and the alternator, started to eat the drive belt, was on it's last legs. I've been partial to the wagons, especially here, because it rains so often. I look forward to picking some of the old hats brains for any advice or help in keeping her going.

The pictures are the day I saw it and it was the only one on the lot for sale.

I'm willing to take that claim... :cool:

It does make it hard to get parts for. As far as I can tell other than being a right hand drive this one has a 2.5 liter motor in it while the stateside model had the 2.2...I could be wrong though.

Thanks to all for the kind words. :smt023 I've really only seen two other wagons like mine on the island and the same color too.
