Hi Everyone
Flyinspanner checking in, :smt006 I have a 98 GTB BG5 auto in Cashmere Yellow, which Ive owned for around four years, its my daily driver, and has been completely reliable.
The car is pretty much standard, only uprated ARB bushes and drop links, - even the strut brace I bought for it is still not fitted some 18 months later  though I have fitted a set of later alloys, the originals have been powdercoated and fitted with snow tyres for the winter, currently safely stowed in the junkyard of a garage! (does anyone ever actually fit a car in their garage haha)
I started my working life as an Avionics Engineer...long story short....now buzz around the skies of Europe as an in charge crewmember :angel9: hence the handle.
I have found the GTB to be an absolute gem of a car, I initially bought it when looking for a capable load carrier as I needed one when my daughter went to University, and be up and down the country loaded with all the valuable things (rubbish) that are dear to students hearts everywhere! I wanted something which would also be "fun" for me, economy wasnt high on the list (thank the Lord) so this fitted the bill to a "T".
Not many other cars can deliver so much in a single package for the money, and I quite like the fact that not many people know what on earth it is!
Anyhow thats me, also a member on UKL site -and hope this is as good! Always think that its so useful being able to find out as much as possible -to be able to focus on where to look if things go wrong, so see you all out and about on the threads.
Rgds Steve.
