A friend of mine gave me some NGK spark plugs that he got from subaru i think but he has a WRX wagon and the spark plugs they gave him is for an N/A engine so will they fit and work in my EJ22?

nope. also are they new or used? copper/platinum/iridium?

The ones he gave me are the BKR6EGP and there a used but for a super short period of time.

never ever install "used" plugs no matter what the mileage is.

BKR6EGP will not fit the non-turbo EJ motors. You will need BKR6E-11 for non-turbo.

It's no biggie, he gave them to me out of the blue and before I even thought of putting them in I wanted to make sure they would even work with my car.

Yup, will be getting some pretty soon anyways probably time to change them.
