the sti side splitters wont bolt on directly
http://www.fastwrx.com/wrxstisp.html

"Install note: These splitters attach to a WRX STi using plastic body clips and automotive adhesive. The WRX bumper does not have the slots or holes for the tabs and clips on the splitters, and cutting them is a little difficult, so we recommend simply trimming off the tabs, removing the fasteners, and using the adhesive for installation. Pick up some extra 3M heavy-duty double-sided exterior tape from your auto parts store.

Install note update: One of our customers in Germany informs us that the above-mentioned install technique (3M adhesive only) is NOT adequate for Autobahn speeds of 110+ mph. If you plan on very high speeds, we recommend using the OEM tabs and clips.

If you want to go the factory route, cut some slots and holes in your factory bumper, and the clips and tabs will pop right in. See picture below for what the back of the splitters look like."

If I am not mistaken the JDM sedan fenders will need to be reworked to make them fit. Its not a PITA but its not bolt on :-D

You need the lip man!! it makes the front end.

Thanks for the good words. I'm still not happy with how she looks. Paint is incorrect. I asked for black with a blue pearl flake. And ended up with straight runny blue pearl :smt013

I traded my blue leggy (which is my avatar) minus my rims and system for a high quality paint job. He was the one who painted the leggy for me last time. So I figured I would expect the same quality of paint as I received the first time. There was some sort of gun issue. And caused the clear to run.

In end. He is still a good friend of mine. And has 100% agreed its getting repainted this fall. (timings an issue for both of us. Can't afford vehicle down time) and should hopefully come out much much better lol

Updates and a ride profile will come. Just wanted to get pictures out there for comments. Ideas. And questions.

I need to replace the bumper anyways because I was not aware that once converting to sedan fenders. A wagon bumper will no longer line up.(which I bought brand new... :smt013 ). So I need to buy a new one. Again. Haha.

So then my fogs can go in and everything else. And compared to your discription. My spliters bolt right on as of now. But don't not look appropriate with the incorrect bumper. And Being a different color. I refuse to put them on.

This is hopefully what look I'm going for...

But on a wagon. And with USDM projector fogs. Unless I can find a nice set of JDM fogs :smt024

There was some sort of gun issue. And caused the clear to run.

Have you considered wetsanding to level the runs, then machine polishing? You can save some seriously nasty paint fuckups that way. It won't fix the color, but it'd be run-free with nice gloss and clarity at least.

It's unfixable. Trust me lol

I just did a widebody swap on my 04 WRX... you cant see with the fog light covers but further up in the post you can see that I have the JDM yellow fogs under there :)

Putting the side splitters on is no big deal... especially if it is a Sedan Bumper that you will be putting them on. I cut the 4 slots in the crease of the bumper so that the 4 clips in the splitter would actually engage something. That with the push tabs in the bottom and the 3M adhesive has worked really well so far... no seperation and certainly no flying off with 100+ driving.

Feel free to pick my brain as I JUST did this a half year ago.
