Fuel Supply Problem?

Ok here is my problem.

Firstly, this only happens when the gas tank is half full OR LESS. When I accelerate hard around a turn, about half way through I shift to second. In second gear when it gets up to around 3000 RPM, the engine just cuts out. It feels like all of a sudden the engine isnt getting gas (which is obviously what I suspect the problem is). At first I thought it was bad gas, but I treated the tank and realized that repeatedly, the problem only happens with only a little gas in the tank. Ive been driving it around keeping the tank over half full and it runs fine.

Im thinking the problem is some sort of issue in the fuel delivery system. The reason it happens when im accelerating in a turn is cause the gas is sloshing in the tank and whatever the problem is, it is having trouble getting the gas. Do you think it could be fuel pump? fuel injectors? At one point in time I had a cylinder 3 and 4 misfire on the OBD but that hasn't happened in the past few months (even though the problem continues).

Let me guess it happens when you only turn right? its cuz your fuel pump pick up is at the right side of the tank so when you turn hard and fast and press the gas your sucking air into the lines cuz all your gas is to the left side of the tank

yea thats possible. Do I need a new fuel pump?

Nope i have a 255 walburo and i have the same problem. I have asked about it and i have heard the RS and wrx do the same thing. its do to a poor design in the gas tank which isnt angled enought to the pump

ahhh that's terrible. damnit. Could a bad fuel pump be exentuating the problem? Or do I just need to keep my gas levels high

Its not going to hurt to get a better pump so if you want to try it, go for it but tell then keep it abpve a half tank if you want to have some fun :-D
