Headlights wont turn off

My headlights dont turn off, at all. Luckily the car has auto off with the ignition but any other time they are on. By headlights I mean my low beams, not the parkers so it isnt affected by the parker switch. Any ideas what the issue could be?

Your headlights shouldn't ever turn off from factory, because even with your headlight switch in the off position, your DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) will stay on. The only way to turn those off is to pull your e-brake, but that's not a good idea if you want to drive anywhere.

There are threads on this forum on how to disable your DRLs though. Check in the electrical threads of note (it's a sticky in the electrical section) and that should be able to at least put you on the right path if you really want your headlights completely off when you turn your switch to the off position.

Probably should have added that its a AUDM Liberty, so no DRL. I turned them on one early morning then tried turned them off a few hours later but they didnt turn off
