Single turbo ECU combersion question

If I have a piggyback, will I still need to swap my ECU or will the piggyback work with the swap?

Yes you can use a piggyback that can control air/fuel mixture and ignition. Which brand?

I am having some trouble sourcing tech documents / facts to support this claim.. Just multiple users from across the globe saying that they have tuned their single turbo conversion with various piggybacks. The other route is the ECU which involves wiring and headaches..

Do you have a local tuner who is failure with your piggyback / ej20 single turbo conversions? or are you attempting to do this yourself?

I keep hearing the piggyback will work and I've also heard I'll need the ECU from a WRX. There's a guy here that did the swap with the stock ECU and a Power FC. The guys that helped him do the swap are the ones that are going to help me.
