Emissions & Purge items

I'm pretty sure there is something small is going on somewhere in my emissions system or even something to do with just the pruge but what I'd like to know is if its possible to clean the emissions and purge valve. Yes I know the purge is apart of the emissions?

What makes you think something is going on? Personally I don't think I would be able to tell. Also I don't think there is such thing as an emissions valve.

Purge valve is simply a solenoid, I have never heard of them becoming clogged and even if it did I doubt you could clean it. The most common failure with the purge solenoid is the coil in the solenoid shorts or breaks and then the solenoid doesn't operate. The only fix is replacement of the whole solenoid.

I feel it could be that because my car acted like it kind of doesn't want to start but its like super far apart when it has done so and because my engine light is one and when I last checked it the purge code came up.
