neon coilpack conversion

I keep hearing about it, but I dont know any specifics. I have a 98 legacy wagon, 2.2l what year coil pack off a neon would I be looking for? And will I have to cut/splice wires to make it work?

Okay so the neon coilpack is only for the 3wire coils? Ive seen a couple subies with 4wire setups, I never paid much attention when looking at the coils til recently. I pulled a coilpack from a 98 forester that was available and it didnt match. (just looking to replace my coil I believe its shot)
