Which clutch?

My clutch is slipping so I'm going to replace it here shortly. My question is, do I get the EJ25 clutch to match the engine or the EJ22 clutch to match the transmission? I know the EJ22 clutch assembly fits because I'm using one now but is there any advantage to running the EJ25 clutch?

Get a clutch kit and replace everything. And its doesnt matter EJ22 EJ25 use the same set up.

Oh, and I'm getting different Part #'s for the Exedy OEM replacement on Rockauto.

It's a 2000 Impreza OBS with a 2001 Forester EJ251.

so in my 97 legacy I could buy either a 2.5 clutch disk and pressure plate, or the 2.2?
