Sloppy noise coming from stearing

Hey guys,

I have a sloppy noise as if i have a worn out tie rod...i have replaced both tie rods (inner) not outer. but it still persists.
Just looking for a direction to go with this.
my inner ties were really bad so i was thinking of maybe a rack problem now.
should i look at the outer ties first (visual inspection was good) then ball joints?
then move to the rack?

i am going to start with my steering rack bushings, they are cheap and probably need done anyhow.

had a chance to be under my car today. Starter replacement (185,000 miles on original i guess a new one was due)
didn't notice anything with outer tie rods, or ball joints. had my friend move the wheel and didn't notice any rack movement, but bushings will be my first change soon.
if you guys have any suggestions please share kinda scratching my head on this one.

All I can say is my car is making a noise from inside the rack. I replaced inner and outer tie rods in the spring.

how do you know its in the rack? my passenger front strut is leaking also, could it be that as well?

It could be the control arms/bushings as well. Do you notice a loss of steering control over hard/sharp bumps?

yes feels really sloppy when makeing a tight over bumps, kinda like its slapping around also get some wobble and slapping around 55-65 mph.

Definitely inspect the control arms & bushings then. The connect the steering, suspension, and body together, so if there's something wrong, you have a problem.

I had my friend under the car while I turned the wheel and the noise is coming from the rack itself.
