Leak from part next to Radiator Cap

Anyone know by any chance what this part is and if I can just replace a seal inside it? It looks like it's a large allen head fit. It just started leaking out of the opening this past week.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not 100% sure but I am pretty sure that is part of the radiator. I dont think you can replace just that plug.

That's what I thought, just hoping it's something I can change out. Figure I'll just drain the system and see if I can get the plug out...if not, I'll just replace the radiator I guess. None of the aftermarket ones I've found have that spout though. Don't understand the purpose.

I am pretty sure the purpose is that it is able to be used across multiple models. On a different model, that plug is probably removed and put into one of the inlets that your car uses for a coolant hose. I am a huge fan for Autozone Spectra brand radiator. It shouldnt be more than around $165 and it comes with a lifetime warranty that specifically covers cracking of the plastic parts, leaks in seams ect.


Looks identical to the OEM ones that I have replaced in the past (2004 WRX and 2006 FXT)

So if it's removed for other models, there is still a chance I can replace a seal inside, but not a good chance?

I would doubt it because I dont think you can buy a replacement plug or seal... it comes that way from the Radiator Factory most likely.

Considering that isnt used... I would put a big rubber vacuum cap over it with a clamp and call it a day.
