Lip kits?

Im looking for a lip kit to put onto my 96 legacy L. What kind of lip kits(bumper,side skirts,front bumper) can fit on my car?

You can fit GT legacy skirts rear lip and any lip that comes on other legacy that aren't molded to the bumper. I think you can even fit a Mach 1 stang lip onto a second gen. You could probably also fit RS lips to you're car, skirts to but since legacys are a little longer it wont go all the way from one side to the other.

Do gen 3/4 legacy or impreza/WRX/STi lips fit on a BD?

I found out that on our second generation Legacies that the front lip on the bumper cover is removable off of a 1996 GT model but from 97-99 they are molded to the bumper cover even though they are black in color they cannot be removed. I have been searching myself for a 1996 GT front lip in various salvage yards in my tri-state area but no luck yet.

Dont bother with a front lip, unless thats what you really want. Get a JDM bumper with the Projector fogs and you get a built in lip.

Mark is right about the skirts. Any 2nd gen BG/BK/BD will fit.

Rear lips are sedan or wagon only.

These JDM bumpers that you linked to on EBay are they a direct bolt on for our USDM Legacies? I have a 97LGT just wondering if mods would have to be made to the car for the bumper to fit properly?

Direct bolt on, theyre factory to our 2nd gens, ours just werent as pretty as theirs.

The only mod you will have to do is wiring the fogs lights.

Yes, they will fit ALL 2nd gen Legacy's. 95-99 USDM... If you want prof, click the link for my car in my sig... I have a Limited JDM bumper (a bit more rare), but same idea...

Agreed, I was only thinking of the bumper mounting.. Im too broke for those lights anyway :smt022 I had a bumper that matched them but after it got damaged I made use of a spare outback bumper
