Well sold my subie and bought this the same day. Its a 2000 Special Edition 60,000 miles. Limited slip diff, 6 speed, leather, Bose stereo and removable hard top. I'll try and get some more pictures up later. https://sl-i.net/FORUM/images/imported/2012/09/ae1e8883a8798235d63d8c81ebe3f390_zps4860-2.jpg

Nice! I have been thinking about getting one of these as my summertime toy/commuter... but with 2 kids who like to be in the car... might be a squeeze.

Maybe in 10 years I can spring for an 08 turbo model...

Yeah rwd, 2 seater. Blast to drive. I have a truck available come winter. Long term plans are to go supercharged.

I really like how small and sporty these cars look. I almost considered trading my SVX for an older one....

My bought one and he has 2 kids....bought it before we could drive....

Anyways, he has an 07 retractable hard top 6spd now. Before that an 00 5spd. Before that a 97 5spd. They are fun to drive.

Yeah, I drove a 98 model back in NZ in the hills. Bone stock, what a rush. The newer ones are more refined, but being that low to the ground, even 55mph feels like 80!

I would definitely get a ticket in one though... zipping through traffic...

Yeah it may only have 140 hp but it gets going pretty quick and so nimble. New valve cover gasket, synthetic oil change, spark plugs and wires went on today.

Thought about undercoating the body to protect from salt?
And maybe some clear vinyl on the lower body?

They don't actually salt the roads around here which I'm thankful for. I have been looking into the clear vinyl to avoid rock chips and such.
