I actually just bought something off of ebay that was through Gillman North Subaru parts department.

They included a flyer that they have free shipping on nearly every item that is not oversized/overweight.

The flyer also included another statement that clearly states they will beat ANY subaru parts dealers online quote by at least 10%.

I will make a copy of it at lunch and post it up. I was going to get all my OEM frankenmotor parts from them.

The manager of the parts department thought for some reason that he sent me the wrong sunshade so he sent me another one (even though he sent the correct one in the first place) along with a subaru Pen, Subaru polished chrome keychain, pad of paper and a pre-paid return label so that I could send him back whichever sunshade I didnt want.

Really went above and beyond with just a notion that he might have made a mistake on my order.

Too bad I didnt live closer or I would totally take advantage of their posted specials which are not valid at their Estore!!!!

Bam! Chaulk up another win for Gillman Subaru.

Absolute BEST price I found on a 10mm oil pump was $142 shipped from 1stsubaruparts.com

Gillman's price was $152 shipped.

Called and spoke to Logan John at the parts department and he dropped the price to $128 shipped in a heartbeat.

Definitely my new favorite place to order parts from!!!!!!!

+1 on subaru parts for you, then followed by http://www.1stsubaruparts.com/ for cheap parts, but slow shippping. Good for crazy hard to find stuff or gaskets and what not.

they are all dealerships who have the same access to the same inventory of parts through the nationwide distribution centers.

I think it really just comes down to how close you are to the actual dealerships (shipping time) and price.

In Gillman's case, guaranteeing a 10% better shipped price than anybody is worth an extra day or two in shipping IMHO

I can honestly say that I have bought parts from:

Subaruparts.com Bruce Titus Subaru Tacoma, WA
1stsubaruparts.com Hansen Subaru Olympia, WA
subarupartsforyou.com Dan Perkins Subaru Millford, CT
subarupartsmall.com Wilde Subaru Waukesha, WI
subarugenuineparts.com - Chaplin's Bellevue Subaru Bellevue

They are all basically the same except for shipping speed and prices.

And that's typically what online purchasers are looking for - who's the best at both.

Ive been trying to get one of these dealerships to become a vendor and never here back from them.

Talk to Logan Johns at Gillman North. I talked to him yesterday and he is the Main Man at the parts department there. I am pretty sure he would love to talk to you about it.

So I just received my order of parts from Gillman Subaru North and they included a new flyer. Now on top of their free shipping and 10% better price guarantee they are offering an additional 5% off of their already low prices. Use coupon code PLUS 5

FYI Logan John will even help you with a VOR(?) which is essentially a request for parts directly from Subaru Of Japan.

Annapolis Subaru is the OEM vendor over at SubaruForester.org. I can PM Jackie (SubaruPartsGirl over there) and ask her if they would be interested in here as well.

Coupon code is PLUS5 not PLUS 5. Still the best prices I have found... by FAR.

Really? I have never once had a cheaper price at Secor. They charge full retail price, where Subarupartsforyou.com charges wholesale prices.

The only time I ever go to Secor is for something very small where I do not want to make the trip to Milford or the cost of shipping, or if I absolutely need the part the same day.

Unless you have some sort of arrangement with them?

Seriously, depending on what it is, the dealer is usually the way to go. For example, the front control arm bushings on my car are loose, and half the places listed here don't list them, and the cheapest is the same price as the local dealer, and the dealer doesn't charge for shipping... i found this for other things too, including the head gaskets.

Subarupartsforyou is Dan Perkins Subaru in Milford, CT. I generally order online and pick up in their shop and save shipping.

Gillman dealerships are top notch. I bought my Honda Pilot from them here in San Antonio and use them for any Subaru dealer work (Gillman has Honda and Subaru shops at the same address). In addition, their parts prices are very competitive.

I also have used subarupartsforyou.com ... excellent prices and selection.
