Wrx wiring and ecu swap?

Building a turbo setup for my car, and instead of using an safc I was wondering if I could swap to a 2003 or 2004 wrx ecu/harness and what may be involved. I know some stuff has to be wired in up under the dash but what that is I do not know. I also realize that they are map based instead of maf. If anyone knows of a thread where this has been done, please feel free to point me towards it. I'm pretty good when it comes to wiring stuff and I am great at soldering stuff. I'm only going to run the stock amount of boost for a 2003 wrx, so I figure if I do this then I shouldn't need to have it tuned (although I probably will anyway)

My setup:
97 LGT wagon 5 speed
EJ22E short block
EJ25D heads
2003 wrx tdo4
ebay UEL headers with up pipe
still have yet to get a down pipe and exhaust.
Will be using sti side feed injectors

As far as I know you would need to use Wrx heads/intake manifold to be able to do this.

Hmm well if so then that sucks. I just want to run 8-10 psi which i can do safely. Just would rather not use an safc unless I can find someone who knows how to tune with it
