Theortical Eg33 BD Legacy build

Hey guys I have been planning the aspects of the build
i wish to do. I want to start with a 1997-98 Legacy GT2.5 .
and den... i want to do EG33 swap. I plan on doing a turbo conversion
and was wondering it the 6mt will bolt up. I figure it will need that tranny
to hold that power.

Very nice thats encouraging. i have searched around and if you have to much power(which i plan on) you will just destroy 5mt's left and right. Another thing, i know newer WRX's have the variable Center diff. In which you can manually adjust the torque split. Could this tech be swapped in to a BD. and or can i get my split permenantly adjusted.

How much power are you planning on running? I've seen the 2004+ wide gear 5MT transmissions hold strong at 500whp many times, especially in the BD, because its a lighter car means less load on components.

I really want to see some one do a twin turbo eg33.
We have done a couple 900+ HP ones for sand rails and I always wanted to see some one put it in a car. A legacy none the less.

What is your plan?
Turbo size? Number of turbos? Cooling? Etc. Details details!

Honestly i would die to do a twin turbo. omg yes. i would like to make like 450-550bhp
and have it be reliable enough to drive regularly. my only concern is fitting it in.But i am also prepared to make serious modifications to the engine bay. i am not sure what size to go with. money will be an object, but also clearance. under the hood. i had a cool idea for a cowl style hood on a legacy though. i think it would look mean. for cooling i want to get a fmic i just dont see it working anyother way.

also with the tt setup i could run really low boost(10-12) for daily driving and make like 500 or so. and turn that shit up to (15-18) for a track day or joy ride. haha

I think the radiator setup on this WRX is nice i might do somthing similar. but not the low mounted turbos. if i ever hit somthing i want them in the back lol. http://youtu.be/PelNedQlIWs

It is going to be a tight fit, and really, if you cut that much of the front out to run a similar radiator / FMIC setup, it wont matter where the turbos are, if you hit something the engine will probably be a loss. It was pretty tight fitting even the stock thin radiator in the wegacy3.3 statGSR and I built.

that being said, I would LOVE to be able to afford a build like this, I have some pretty cool ideas for an eg33 with just a set of TD04's

for sure. yeah i know weight is everything but i have no qualms with modifiying and renforcing
for the cars sake and passenger safety. but one of other things i was intrested in is something rwd cars do all the time.
Moving the motor as far back and down at possible. I figured that probably gets hard with having to account for two drivelines.
but the lower center of gravity intrigues me.
