what kinda headers?

hi..
im looking for headers for my 98 subaru legacy outback...
2.5l dohc...
tryna look on ebay...
which ones will be good for a good fitment?
and i seen something on there about headers w/o oil cooler...
will that matter?
what does that effect?
any answers wil be helpful...
im asking because i dont want to buy headers amd no fitting rite and going through the trouble of returns..

RS 2.5 headers, You cant use an oil cooler for the spin on filter. Be weary about the fitment and quality of eBay headers. It's pretty much hit or miss.

I moved this topic to the correct forum.

Oxygen sensors (both of them) are located in the Catalytic converter sections (also known as the J pipe), not the headers.

As far as fitment goes, authentic Borla headers will fit best, but they have nearly as many weld problems as their much less expensive knockoffs, which have hit and miss fitment. Any N/A (non-turbo) header for any Subaru model listed will 'fit' your EJ25.
