springs need help with fitment?????

I have a 1998 Subaru Legacy Brighton Wagon 2.2L
my friend gave me brand new springs for a 1996 Subaru Outback, will these work on my 98 legacy?

I've not seen a definite answer on this. The subframe spacers lift the body, the struts are taller, and the tires are taller, but I've never heard anyone say definitively if the springs are longer than the stock L or GT ones.

You'll get a lift from the suspension. It'll fit.
The springs aren't much longer, but the struts are, and the mounting/seat for the bottom of the spring is higher up on the body of the strut... relatively speaking.
