Love fkearney39's slammed outback, but it has the misfortune of being put up against rocketlegacy's car... which is perfection on wheels. Tough choice!

When only 3 people submit it can be lop sided. If we had more entries we could even it out. We plan on doing themed ROTM, where more creativity will even the playing field a bit.

Why don't we do it like before where members nominated other members? As long as they have a valid MR thread you can just copy and paste the mods and a pic into the ROTM thread

I'd enter if we had a theme of "boring, nearly stock outbacks" I think a lot of us have our cars under the knife right now getting ready for winter, and don't want to enter until things are done.

We don't get enough submissions we have ben scraping by with three a month and sometimes pulling a surplus entry from a prior month to make it work.

No what I mean is about a week before the new month create a thread saying "next months theme will be ____ we need 4 nominations" and then members nominate other members cars that they they think fit the topic. That is how ROTM was set up when I first joined the forums and I think it wold work better than members submitting themselves via pm.

We are going to revamp ride of the month once the new forum update is finished.

I think the problem with that is inactivity. Someone who isnt active, especially for a long time doesn't belong in rotm. Its for active members that contribute to the forum.

Well you can insert a rule that the person nominated must have visited the forum within the past week or 2. Its easy to find out that info sense the last login time is listed in their profile.
