Im looking at getting some GT/AUDM RX skirts. I had a look at my current skirts and they seem to be attached using some kind of plastic plug/screw/cap thing that seems to sit very flush with the actual skirts. So my question is what should I use to get my current skirt off and is replacement actually the reversal of removal?

yes yes and yes.
Remove the plastic caps. on each end. then remove the push clips from the underside. These clips become very very brittle / weak and tend to snap or twist to oblivion.
The dealer will have every clip usually in stock or your local auto parts store will have universal style clips.
Go nuts my friend!

Actually, I dont think I have any side skirts. I think the plug things I can see are just to cover the mounts for skirts
Heres a pic for reference

oh.. those are rocker panels and are part of your unibody frame which is not removable.
