I want to get my fiance a thicker rear swaybar for her outback but when I looked at it it just looked different than my wrx rear swaybar. Would a bugeye's rear sway work on her bh or what would fit it?

and yes I know they make aftermarket rear sways but they're like $150 and I can get wrx rear sway for a hell of a lot cheaper

Won't fit. You should know that the rear suspension on her wagon isn't like a wrx. It's multi link whereas the wrx is macpherson strut.

I knew about the struts but didn't know it affected the sway

The entire linkage back there is different. BL/BP stuff may work though. An LGT stock swaybar might be a good option to look into. Unfortunately, there isn't a whole lot of info on compatibility between the BE/BH and BP/BL stuff - kind of a big rift with the newer legacys, especially the GTs.
