If i replace all the stock ground wires with a larger size wire like 4 gauge but put them all back in the same grounding location would that be ok,

Food for thought.

as long as you crimp or solder the grounds and cover them with heat shrink so the elements do not get at the crimp or solder points you should be fine all it does is allow more current to get through the wires to the battery which is what you need if youre running any kind of aftermarket audio system

Thanks for the help, will secure everything, is it necessary to use 0 gauge wire, or wats the biggest i should use

You can go any gauge, however I would imagine that itd be a pain to try and fit multiple 0g wires into the terminal to have it grounded at multiple points. I personally will be doing 4g for my grounds and my amp wire and 2g for positive to starter (when I redo it all) That way there I can have three grounds coming out of the terminal, and then beef up the grounding throughout the engine bay.
As far as what is necessary, what are you running aftermarket to require larger wiring? I mean, if youre bumping with a 4000w amp then 8g wont cut it >.>

The plan is around 1000 to 1500 wats, but just want better grounding t elimanate caps or extra batteries, or upgraded alternator

I remember in my camry I was running 1200w but I also had a capacitor. So do you not want the extra components for a cleaner install or just not in the budget to get a bunch of extras? Im not sure but I think even with the upgraded wiring you may still get dimming and such pushing 1500w off the factory power system.
