I've noticed a trend with subaru owners. A LOT of the younger owners seem to be some form of Graphic or Web designer. I just want to see how accurate my theory is.

well, of course. most people who have an interest in cars enough to join a forum about it have something to do with mechanics.

How's this for bucking the trend: Nearly done with my Economics major, heading to law school after.

My present to myself for finishing all that will be a 2010 Legacy. Assuming they're still around...

i know only what i need to know about a computer so that it keeps running on a day-to-day basis. my neighbour is my tech support.

i'm an "operations manager" of the parking & transportation office at a university. i have a BS in telecomm engineering, and an MBA.

i think it's amusing that i'm majoring in Graphic Design which is a fun term for "commercial art" and i'm getting a BS not at BA

I went to JCCC for graphic design, now I'm at WyoTech for chassis fabrication and frame modification. I would have continued to study graphic design but I decided that I wouldn't be happy working behind a desk the rest of my life. I've done a lot of advertising for local business is KC however.

graphic signs

what do you do?
SIGNS,

scan artwork in from drawing or blue prints and vector them,
take finished art work (new sign designs) and drop them in a mock-up,
cut vinyl, plot full-sized line patterns, weld, wire electrical, paint,
survay new sites, metal fabrication, order stuff, install,......etc.

I would say that I spend half the day in front of an Apple, doing design work and the other half of the day in metal fab.

went to three different schools for art, but never finished.

I'm a full time EMT and part time Firefighter. I've racked up enough Fire/EMS classes to ALMOST make an associate's degree. Need to make a couple more fire schools for some leadership classes and I can get a degree out of that, but it's not much of one to get me anywhere. I'm trying to figure out a new career path, as this one pays pretty much jack crap.
