I just got some new Brembo slotted rotors for the car and just had to let everyone know they are awesome!!! My DBA slotted ones I had on there got warped from the EBC red stuff pads whitch developed horrible wheel shake when baking. So now my set up is Brembo slotted rotors with Delux pads all bought from Primitive Racing (http://www.writerguy.com/primitive/index.htm)

The rotors were $235 and the pads were $68 and the anti-vibration springs were $26. Probably be cheaper for the guys that dont have the 4 pot calipers

I bet the EBC pads were part of your problem.
The only EBC product I would recomend are their Gold-Stuff brake pads for mountain bikes.
Their ad's are nice, but their pads are junk for cars.

Were your Brembos made in Mexico or somewhere else?

Not sure but I will email Paul to see where they were made.

Two questions:
#1: Will the Brembo rotors and pads fit under my stock 16" rims on the 99GT?
#2: What color do the pads come painted? I want some aggressive looking pads.

The rotors should work with a 16" rim. The ones I got were black. Color is not an issue for me as I have the JDM 4 pot calipers so you dont see my pads

Most cars have one big piston pushing on the brake bad. When you start getting into better brakes you will see dual piston and triple pistons meaning you have two or three smaller pistons pushing on the pads instead of just one big one.

Do you mean the Capilers instead of the pads?

What's up with this pic? On the bottom left the rotor looks slotted and larger then the rest of the rotor, which isn't even slotted. Is that a photochop or something? :?
