I know I know I'm slammed on my stock wheels with 55's on them but I was wondering if there was anybody that knows of any DIY inner fender mod to make more space. I'm asking this because I really don't want to raise my car but I want to get rid of the rubbing my tires do on the inner area of my fenders and this will help for the future when I get wheels finally. It rubs on the back area that curves. Ill post a pic of it when I can, hopefully by the end of the day tomorrow.

Jack the car up
Put a static jack under the car to prevent a bloody death
Take the tire off.
Put on a set of heavy duty work gloves
Take a heat gun.. Not a blow drier!!
Heat up the area that is making contact.
With your hand push against the fender liner slowly towards the inside and wait until the plastic starts to cool down.
Repeat the steps above until the fender liner is free from obstructions.

Nice but it's metal contact not the plastic.

If you are hitting the fender well's and not the liner then you need to do the following.

1) Run spacers
2) Run a different offset
3) Hammer out or cut and weld a new fender well.

How is it even possible to run a different offset with the stock wheels?

Then dont do it...

What Chuk said about the plastic was even more then I would be willing to do, but a good solution.

If you really want to be that low, run smaller tires.

I would if I could but I don't have cash to by smaller tires. Pretty much the rubbing isn't messing anything up I just don't like hearing it but fiine.. I'm going to raise my car then. :smt012
