I feel like a complete idiot for not knowing how to do this, but how do I make thumbnails for pictures? Like what is the tag code I need to use? I found one online that didn't seem to work! Your help is greatly appreciated!!

Find the image...

Right click and copy the image URL.

Then in the full editor... select the "Img" icon from the toolbar at the top.

It automatically enters the appropriate HTML tags with your cursor in the center of them.

Then just past the URL of the photo in the space that the cursor is at (between the two commands).

Like this:

Search google.com/images for S401.

Click on the one you want.

Then click on the link to the right that shows the full size image. Notice that the web address ends in .jpg when you look at the full size image.

Insert that entire URL in the area that the cursor has located to between the HTML codes.

You can also grab a thumbnail from a website directly by right clicking on the picture and selecting "copy image URL".

Once it is copied... you then insert it in between the two HTML codes (where the cursor populates) that appear when you hit the "Img" command.

Now if someone can tell me how to embed a youtube video so it shows the video box with play symbol and actually plays while in the post instead of just being link to youtube.

Now is that just for pictures I find online or does that work for pictures I've already got saved on my computer?

Forget the previous comment! I forgot I had to place pictures into Photobucket first, so now they're online. But when I tried to do what you had mentioned, it only gave me the full size picture. And with 13 pictures to post, I know that will just be way to much to scroll down the page.

Nothing wrong with full size pictures as everyone now days has high speed internet.

If you REALLY want to post smaller one... go to the photo on photobucket... move your cursor inside the picture and you will see a toolbar drop down from the top plane of the picture.

Click Resize and then use the scroll bar to make is as big or small as you like. Then you can either save and replace or save a copy (preferred). You might then create a folder specifically for resized photos or just keep them in the same album as the original.

Start organizing now though because if you post the link to the picture in one album... then move the picture to a different album... all of the places you posted that photo to will now no longer show the photo as the location for it has changed. It is a ton of work to move 1 photo to a new album and then track down all the places where you posted that picture so that you can edit the post to include the new address of the photo.

You can automatically tag thumbnails instead of the full size image after you've uploaded the image. doesn't actually edit the image, just posts it where you want it in the correct size.

It isn't the internet speed that makes gigantic pictures annoying....

Thumbnails are more compact and have a cleaner look to the post. I like being able to make comments in between pictures and you can still read the whole post without scrolling down or sideways.

It took me a while, but I found a setting on PB for it and I'm starting to use them since I'm a photo whore when it comes to me car... lol

It does make post's a little easier to read and some people post mondo pics and I hate side scroll... lol
