I saw these and was curious if they were JDM only or if there was a USDM model that came with them?
They look like the JDM fronts from a B4

Well, they look like wagon seats because of the split. And that seat pattern is on all sorts of models.
But if I had to guess, I'd say it's from a '98-'99 (A~B type) GT-B.

Yes they are wagon seats, but I guess my first question is, are there from any USDM models? My instinct says no

I'm pretty sure we only had cloth and leather options. I don't believe we ever had any other style stock in the US.

Interesting. I've never seen the bottom seats on a subie that also splits.

AFAIK most all the JDM wagon seats have the bottoms that split. that way you can fold flat 1 side (braced with the bottom cushion flipped up) and still have the other side for sitting.
I had a full set of JDM GF8 (plain wrx wagon maybe 1998ish) seats in my 98 Legacy L and it had split upper and lower rear seats. very handy!

My old 2000 BH and my 02 LL Bean BH both have split rear seats. I can look tomorrow to make sure, but I dont think I'm wrong...

I haven't seen a USDM wagon where the bottom of the seat splits. My brother and I always curse at that.

Looks like a Baja interior.
Most Bajas are 4 seaters. They have a couple holder deal in the middle of the back seat.

These definitely look like JDM b4 wagon seats. I have the JDM front seats in my wagon and they have the exact same design.

nice! in your opinion how do they sit/feel? I'm trying to debate whether I try to find a set of those, or spring for a bit more and get some recaros or jdm sti seats

Well, there's no such thing as a B4 wagon, since 'B4' means sedan...
But like I said -

oh LOL didnt know B4 meant sedan, but anyways they're from the JDM wagon.
They're pretty comfortable, not a whole lot of lower back support but i have no complaints. the side bolsters are nice too, they hold you in nicely. great buy for 480$

Not for the wagon... and just barely out of your price range:

Ha, that's a crazy price. I'm pretty sure you can get it from the catalogue (dealer) for about half that in Japan....

I didnt think you could order S203 parts from a catalog whether in Japan or not. Maybe I am dreaming but I thought you had to show you owned one to get replacement parts.

That's because those seats are not exclusive to the S203. It's like the hazard switch in the S401. No other car came with it from the factory, but you can order it from the dealer. The restricted parts are stuff like suspension, ECU, etc... Although, strangely, the hood scoop for the S401 is a restricted part, but that's getting off topic.

So just to confirm... everything in that post that came off an S201 can be ordered from SOJ???
elislider

everything that was a Subaru part can be ordered if it is not completely out of stock

Well, that's true as long as the part you want isn't on a restricted list or you have proof of registration. The dealer asked for my registration for a couple things for the S401 (ECU, hood scoop). They wouldn't even give me a price until they saw it. But there are replica parts for body parts that are restricted that look identical to the real thing so you don't really need the dealer for those.
So, if it's a "special" part and it's in a catalogue, it's totally fair game. And you wouldn't believe how much stuff is in the catalogues. Like those seats...
And if it's a body part, then there will be a replica somewhere.
...and if it's not out of stock like you said.

So to verify... there ARE certain parts from certain RARE models (SX0X) that I would not be able to buy from SOJ without proof of registration. At that point I would have to get a replica part correct?
I cant imagine I can buy a replacement shifter trim from an S401 showing it is number ____ out of ____ in production.
Yamazaki

Shifter trim you can get from the dealer without registration. It's the production plate that you wouldn't get with it (which is what I think you meant, but I said it just in case).
But yes, there are certain parts from S models that are actually quite attainable, despite only the S models having them from the factory.

Interesting... I didnt know this.
